Katarina is the best assassin in Noxus and uses her talent for them which elevates the status of her family. She was trained by the best assassins in Noxus and she was given an assignment to finish of a Demacian officer. While she was stalking him, she saw a Demacian General and took the oppurtunity to finish him off. This led to the heavy casualty by Noxus as they are unprepared against the force that the Demacian brought to battle. Angered by her failure, she launched onto the now heavily guarded Demacian officer and destroyed all the guards one by one and finally the officer. It served as a constant reminder that her passion should intervene with the job at hand.
